The electric campervan eVentje has won the prestigious Red Dot Award. A panel of forty independent experts from around the world has labeled the camper van as a product of “excellent design.”

The eVentje is built on the basis of the ID. Buzz, the electric bus recently introduced by Volkswagen. With its compact build and its acknowledgement to the iconic campervan from the 1950s, the bus fits seamlessly with Ventje’s concept. For the Dutch campervan producer Ventje, it is a fantastic recognition of their long hours of problem-solving and designing. To create a comfortable interior again, the designers at Ventje developed a clever system. By moving the front seat, the sitting and lying area is automatically expanded, creating a bed of 2 by 1.4 meters.

• A complete outdoor set emerges from a narrow drawer: two chair legs and a large table, which when assembled together with the seat cushions make for a very comfortable outdoor set. Even two additional matching ottomans are provided.
• The many outlets, USB-C charging points and storage compartments make Ventje a pleasant mobile office. Whatever arrangement you choose to sit in, the many handy storage spaces are always accessible.
• The lifting roof offers standing room and the option of an upper bed. The large solar panel makes the eVentje self-sufficient just like the normal Ventje.
