Choose the extra 2 seat belts in the back if you want to travel with the whole family or friends. In combination with the driver seat and two seater passenger seat, this provides a total of 5 seats with belts. If you don’t want this option, a Ventje has room for 3 people in the front, with a safety belt; the driver and 2 passengers on the two seater.

If you want your van to be taxed as a campervan you need a push up roof. Camper vans fall into the advantageous camping quarterly motor vehicle tax rate. The economical tax rate helps to earn back the cost of the roof.

The height of a Ventje with push-up roof, solar panels and cassette awning is 205cm. If needed, the bus can still be lowered to under 200cm.

Any Volkswagen T5, T6 or T6.1 with a short or long wheel base (L1 or L2) is suitable to make a Ventje. An open-up tailgate is desirable rather than 2 doors because it can be used as a canopy while cooking outside.

There are often already windows in a passenger van. Not necessarily. We can put in our own privacy glass windows for you. As a result, there is less insight and we can add a beautiful sliding window if you wish.

A huge amount of knowledge and specialised tools are necessary to build a Ventje. It is all designed to the millimeter to fit perfectly without showing any screws. Therefore it is not possible to build a Ventje yourself.
