Spacious and intimate

In a friendly email, Frank addressed us as ‘Hi Ventje campers’. I misread it as ‘Hi Ventje parents’. It turned out not to be such a crazy mistake after all. Traveling with a Ventje feels very intimate, like moving around with your nest-on-wheels. Of course, Ventje is not our child but it is very cose at heart, none the less.

Search
There are many different types of campervans and motorhomes. My concentration span for surfing the internet is not very long but fortunately my wife’s persistence brought us to Ventje. Our son is traveling with a 1991 Peugeot A5 ‘white villa on wheel’. Not our cup of tea. We were looking for a fresh, well-designed and ingenious campervan for a good price. What we found met our wishes. Ventje!

Multifunctional
I frequently admired the website and fell in love with the concept of Ventje. After our visit to Ventje’s workshop my enthousiasm expanded. We were impressed by the space inside, the technology and the simplicity of the design. Read this last word as: too much simplified representation method. Because everything has been thought about and every shelf in the car has multiple functions. But… maybe just a little too small, we wondered.

Warm and intimate
Finding out for ourselves would give the answer. We took Ventje out for three days. And indeed… Ventje is smaller than other motorhomes. It takes some ‘moving around eachother’ so Ventje provides a true camping experience, also due to the direct contact with the environment both from the outside and the inside. Ventje proved to be spacious, intimate, nice and warm and it has an unique ventilation system.

Kitchen
At home i am the chef. Now, i am the chef on the road too. Ventje’s small kitchen has it all! The best idea is its position, at the back of the van. Cooking outside is easy and comfortable, at the right height while standing underneath the tailgate. Cooking from the inside is also very convenient. Incredible that it’s possible to fit everything you need in such a small space.

Smile
We enjoyed a few days in Zeeland with Ventje, even in the wettest weekend of the year. We got up evey morning with a smile on our face. While still in bed we spotted the occasional rays of sun but even more we thoroughly enjoyed what ‘our’ Ventje had to offer.

Conclusion: Ventje team, you deserve our compliments for giving birth to this beautiful litte Ventje!
